— -- Voters in the state of Nebraska are heading to the polls on Election Day 2016.

There are five electoral votes at stake in Nebraska in the presidential race. Nebraska allows for early voting. Nebraska is one of two states that don't have a winner-take-all system for its electoral votes.

The winner of the overall state gets two electoral votes and the winner of each of the three Congressional districts gets one electoral vote each. Mitt Romney won all five electoral votes in this reliably red state in 2012, but Barack Obama won the state's Second Congressional district -- home to Nebraska's largest city, Omaha -- in 2008.

Clinton has visited Omaha on the campaign trail and spent some television ad dollars there, but most experts believe Trump will carry this state's five electoral votes. ABC News has rated the state's Second Congressional District as leans Republican and the rest of the state as solid Republican.

Other Notable Races:

In one of the country's most competitive congressional races, Republicans are looking to defeat first-term Democratic U.S. Rep. Brad Ashford, who promotes himself as a champion of bipartisanship. His opponent, Don Bacon, is a retired Air Force brigadier general who is running as a Washington outsider. -The Associated Press
