  • UN Trusteeship Council NYC - The UN Trusteeship Council chamber was given as a gift to the United Nations by Denmark. The Danish architect Finn Juhl designed the chamber and the walls are lined with ash wood in order to improve the acoustics in the chamber. The Trusteeship Council’s task is to supervise the administration of 11 trust territories until they achieved self-determination. After the council completed its task in 1994, it decided to meet only occasionally when needed.

  • UN Room XVIII Geneva 2013 - The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) is the representative office of the Secretary-General at Geneva. UNOG is housed at the Palais des Nations in Geneva and one of the busiest conference centers worldwide, holding more than 8,000 meetings every year and 1,600 staff which makes the United Nations Office at Geneva one of the biggest duty stations worldwide.

UNOG represents a world center for diplomatic conferences, an operational base for a wide range of activities in the social and economic field.

  • UN Room XXIV I Geneva 2013 - The United Nations Office at Geneva is responsible for the promotion of human rights, peace and development, facilitated through partnerships with research, media, academia, civil society and other international actors. The 1925 Geneva Protocol was drawn up and signed at a conference held at UNOG. The protocol which prohibits the use of biological and chemical weapons in war entered into force in 1928.

  • Library at the Institute of Law Zurich 2013 - The University of Zurich, founded in 1833, is Switzerland largest University, made up of seven faculties. Among these faculties, the university offers about 100 different subject areas to its 26,000 enrolled students. The University of Zurich was the first university in Europe that was established by a democratic political system.

  • Federal Parliament Building National Assembly Bern 2013 - The bicameral Federal Assembly is composed of the 200-seat National Council and the 46-seat Council of States. The assembly possesses the federal government’s legislative power, and in addition the separate constitutional right of citizen’s initiative, such as the federal popular initiative “against the construction of minarets” from 2009. 57.5% of the participating voters approved of the constitutional amendment banning the construction of new minarets.

  • French Communist Party - The building designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer represents a simple construction without ornament. Niemeyer said the headquarters of the French Communist Party was ''a piece of work which will constitute in this city, I am sure, an example of contemporary architecture, and even, permit me to say, a tourist attraction.''

  • French Communist Trade Union - The Bobigny Trade Union Center was also designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer. The Trade Union Center consists of two buildings that are connected through the basement: One building stands on stilts, the other part of the building is partially buried in a shell. The press room has several windows from which the National Council of the French Communist Party can be seen.
