Week to Week, ‘The View’ Sees Gains in Total Viewers and Women 25-54
‘The View’ Scores Year-To-Year Increases in All Key Target Demos: Total Viewers (+14%),
Women 25-54 (+6%) and Women 18-49 (+9%), Marking the 16th Consecutive
Week in Year-To-Year Total Viewer Gains
ABC’s “The View” averaged 2.737 million Total Viewers, 529,000 Women 25-54 and 411,000 Women 18-49 during the week of June 13, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “The View” outperformed CBS’ “The Talk” (2.622 million, 514,000 and 399,000, respectively) across the board: Total Viewers (+115,000), Women 25-54 (+15,000) and Women 18-49 (+12,000). In fact, “The View” led the CBS program by its largest overall advantage in 10 weeks – since w/o 4/4/16.
“The View” was up week to week (2.667 million and 521,000, respectively, on w/o 6/6/16) in Total Viewers (+3%) and Women 25-54 (+2%), drawing its largest overall audience in 6 weeks – since w/o 5/2/16.
“The View” improved on the same week last year (2.411 million, 497,00 and 378,000, respectively, on w/o 6/15/15) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+14%), Women 25-54 (+6%) and Women 18-49 (+9%), posting year-to-year Total Viewer gains for the last 16 weeks.
2016 to date, “The View” is improving in Total Viewers (+133,000 – 2.870 million vs. 2.737 million) and Women 25-54 (+5,000 – 571,000 vs. 566,000) compared to the same point in 2015.
