“GMA” No. 1 in Total Viewers for Week of September 28

— -- ABC News’ “Good Morning America” stood as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers (4.922 million) for the week of September 28, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “GMA” beat “Today” (4.542 million) by 380,000 Total Viewers.

“GMA” posted across-the-board increases from the previous week (4.714 million, 1.527 million and 1.064 million, respectively, for w/o 9/21/15): Total Viewers (+4%), Adults 25-54 (+10%) and Adults 18-49 (+10%).

Year to date, “GMA” has ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers in all 40 weeks of the year.

Two weeks into the new season, “GMA” is the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers, taking the top spot at this point of the season for the 4th consecutive year.

During the week, “GMA” beat “CBS This Morning” in Total Viewers (+36%/ +1.301 million), Adults 25-54 (+61%/+639,000) and Adults 18-49 (+61%/+445,000).
