Season-to-Date, “GMA” is Ranking #1 for the Third Straight Season in Both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54

ABC News’ “Good Morning America” finished as the week’s No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers (4.623 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.602 million) for the week of August 10, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. Leading in both measures for the 3rd week in a row, “GMA” outperformed “Today” (4.260 million and 1.587 million, respectively) by 363,000 Total Viewers and by 15,000 Adults 25-54.

“GMA” improved on the previous week (4.471 million and 1.582 million on w/o 8/3/15) in Total Viewers (+3%) and Adults 25-54 (+1%), drawing its largest overall audience in 6 weeks – since w/o 6/29/15.

Season to date, “GMA” is the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. “GMA” is leading “Today” by 549,000 Total Viewers and by 107,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, “GMA” is ranking No. 1 for the 3rd straight season in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54.

During the week, “GMA” beat “CBS This Morning” in Total Viewers (+46%/+1.465 million), Adults 25-54 (+75%/+687,000) and Adults 18-49 (+73%/+465,000).
