ABC’s “The View” Ranks No. 1 in Total Viewers and Women 25-54

November 2015 Sweep Outdelivers Previous Sweep in All Key Demos

Week of November 23, 2015:

ABCs The View ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (2.619 million) and Women 25-54 (570,000) for the week of November 23, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research.  The View led CBS The Talk (+151,000 2.468 million/+16,000 554,000, respectively) and NBCs Today III (+360,000 2.259 million/+82,000 488,000, respectively).

For the 2nd week in a row, The View posted week-to-week increases (2.529 million, 512,000 and 375,000, respectively, on w/o 11/16/15) in Total Viewer (+4%), Women 25-54 (+11%) and Women 18-49 (+12%), hitting season highs across the board.  In fact, The View turned in its largest overall audience since April and best Women 25-54 performance since March since weeks of 4/20/15 and 3/16/15, respectively.

November 2015 Sweep:

ABCs The View delivered 2.591 million Total Viewers, 526,000 Women 25-54 and 388,000 Women 18-49 during the 2015 November Sweep, based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research.  The View beat NBCs Today III (2.127 million and 505,000, respectively) during the sweep in Total Viewers (+464,000) and Women 25-54 (+21,000).

The View improved from the previous sweep (2.402 million, 498,000 and 382,000, respectively, for July 2015) in Total Viewers (+8%), Women 25-54 (+7%) and Women 18-49 (+4%).

NOTE: With Thanksgiving week, The View was coded as specials on Thursday and Friday, The Talk on Thursday and Today III on Friday. The Talk did not air on Friday due to college football, while Today III did not air on Thursday due to the Macys Thanksgiving Parade.  All specials are excluded from the weekly averages.  ABCs, CBS and NBCs weekly averages are based on three days (Mon-Wed).
