ABC News’ “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” averaged 3.282 million Total Viewers and 924,000 Adults 25-54 on April 24, 2016, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “This Week” beat CBS’ “Face the Nation” (848,000) by 76,000 Adults 25-54, leading the CBS program for the 2nd week in a row.

“This Week” scored double-digit increases week to week (2.913 million and 825,000, respectively, for 4/24/16) in both Total Viewers (+13%) and Adults 25-54 (+12%), drawing its largest overall audience in 5 weeks and best in the key adult new demo in 4 weeks – since 3/27/15 and 4/3/16, respectively.

“This Week” also turn in double-digit gains on the same Sunday last year (2.558 million and 768,000, respectively, on 5/3/15) in both Total Viewers (+28%) and Adults 25-54 (+20%).

Season to date, “This Week” leads CBS’ “Face the Nation” by 19,000 Adults 25-54 (956,000 vs. 937,000), beating the CBS program by its largest margin in the key adult news demo at this point of a season in 8 years – since the 2007-08 season.
