“This Week” Ranks #1 in Adults 25-54 for Third Consecutive Week

— -- ABC News’ “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 in Adults 25-54 (877,000) for the 3rd consecutive week on June 14, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “This Week” beat CBS’ “Face the Nation” (+200,000), NBC’s “Meet the Press” (+100,000) and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday” (+557,000) to take the top spot for the 5th time in the last 6 weeks.

“This Week” improved on its Adults 25-54 performance from the previous week by 3% (877,000 vs. 851,000 on 6/7/15).

“This Week” surged on the year-ago Sunday (2.075 million and 688,000, respectively, on 6/15/14) by double-digits in both Total Viewers (+19%) and Adults 25-54 (+27%).

Season to date, “This Week” is up in Adults 25-54 (+4% - 875,000 vs. 845,000) versus its year-ago season average. Growing its Adults 25-54 performance for the 3rd year in a row, “This Week” is delivering its strongest news demo performance in 6 years – since the 2008-09 season. In fact, “This Week” is the only program to grow in Adults 25-54, as CBS’ “Face the Nation” is flat, while NBC’s “Meet the Press” (-1%) and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday” (-2%) are down.

In addition, “This Week” is outdelivering NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers (+17,000) and Adults 25-54 (+63,000) for the 2nd-straight year, seeing its largest news demo lead in 21 years – since the 1993-94 season.
