Psychic Sylvia Browne Dead at 77; World's Tallest Waterslide Tops 17 Stories

Sylvia Browne, the renowned psychic medium, and a regular on the "Montel Williams Show," has died, according to her website. She was 77.

Browne wrote more than 500 books about the paranormal, 22 of which became best-sellers, according to her site.

In one TV appearance, she told the family of a missing Cleveland girl that the teenager was dead. The girl was Amanda Berry, found alive this year after spending a decade in captivity.

A photo of a frighteningly tall waterslide under construction in Kansas, which promises to be the world's tallest, is already causing stomachs to drop.

Schlitterbahn, a water park in Kansas City, Kan., won't release the slide's exact specifications until it's completed, but it will be about 17 stories high, taller than the Statue of Liberty or Niagara Falls.

It's a match made in early aughts television heaven.

Leighton Meester, 27, star of "Gossip Girl," and Adam Brody, 33, the dorky Jewish kid from "The OC," are engaged, according to People.

'Coming to America,' the Sequel?

On the 25th anniversary of the iconic comedy "Coming to America," Eddie Murphy told co-star Arsenio Hall not to expect a sequel anytime soon.

Appearing on "The Arsenio Hall Show," Murphy said any plans to make a sequel were quashed after an African man, claiming to be a prince, sued Murphy and claimed the movie was based on his life.

"There was some dude who was claiming he was the prince. I be out in the club, and this African dude would roll up on me and say, 'I am the real prince! You stole my life from me! And I want my money! I'll kill you!"

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch and his third wife, Wendi Deng Murdoch, agreed to amicably divorce, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The couple were married for 14 years. The terms of the divorce were not made public.

Two years ago, Deng famously protected her husband at a parliamentary hearing on a phone-hacking scandal, lunging at a man who tried to throw a foam pie in her husband's face.
