Aug. 19, 2013— -- quicklist: 1title: Bruce Jenner Keeps It in the Family text: It's not often that former Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner manages to steal the spotlight from the rest of his brood (we're looking at you, North West), but there's always a first time for everything.

Bruce Jenner flew his mother, Esther, to California to celebrate her 87th birthday on Sunday night's episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and, man, was there tension. Esther apparently never approved of daughter-in-law Kris, but, in an unlikely move, Bruce pushed the two women to make amends on national television, of course.

After the women hashed things out, Kris had this to say of her mother-in-law: "If I'm that sassy at 87, I'm going to be very happy," according to E!

quicklist: 2title: Old Spice That Makes You Feel Like Rockytext: Quinn Sheeran, 11, just made everyone's daily deodorant swipes extraordinary.

The whiz kid decided to rip open a greeting card that played the "Rocky" theme song, disassemble the electronic and reassemble it on an Old Spice stick so that when you pop the cap open, the song blares triumphantly before you even roll the clean-smelling scent on.

The photo of Sheeran's his genius invention was posted on Reddit by his cousin, where it surged to the front page on Sunday, the Daily Dot reported. A video explainer of how the invention came to be soon followed.

"OP missed out on a big opportunity," wrote Reddit user sed_base. "Some exec from a deodorant company is gonna see this and make bank when Old Spice comes up with something as corny as this."

The Social Climber doesn't feel like she's in too angsty of a mood today, so we'll let some tweeters taking part in the global gripe reveal what drives them crazy instead.

"They think they know exactly how you feel all the time when they have NOOOO idea #ThingsIHateAboutPeople," tweeted @margaret_jang_.

"#ThingsIHateAboutPeople I can trust very very few of them," @AlecCoss tweeted.

"#ThingsIHateAboutPeople Wait, I only have 140 characters for this?," @jakpogi added.

Feel free to share.

quicklist: 4title: Baby Prince George Hardly a Royal Paintext: The Social Climber knows you've been going through withdrawal after the arrival of Prince George meant no longer wondering (and compulsively checking) whether Kate had gone into labor.

Prince William is privy to this, so he scheduled an interview with CNN to reveal snippets of what it's like to be the proud father of the newest addition to the royal family. Turns out the royal baby is just like any other newborn who keeps his parents up through many a sleepless night.

"He's a little bit of a rascal, I'll put it that way," William told CNN. "He either reminds me of my brother or me when I was younger, I'm not sure. But he's doing very well at the moment.

"He's growing quite quickly actually. But he's a little fighter -- he wriggles around quite a lot and he doesn't want to go to sleep that much," he said.

Royal families, they're just like us?

quicklist: 5title: Maria Sharapova Loses on the Court, Coach Loses His Jobtext: Maria Sharapova might have hired eight-time Grand Slam champion Jimmy Connors to keep her climbing up the tennis ladder. But when she loses on the court, it apparently means her coach loses, too.

Sharapova fired Connors after just one match, Tennis.com confirmed. After the 26-year-old lost in the second round of the Western & Southern Open in Cincinatti, she kicked Connors to the curb.

"It's not the right fit for this time in my career," she said in a statement to Tennis.com.

Sharapova hired Connors after she fired Thomas Hogstedt, her coach of two-and-half years, after she lost in the second round of Wimbledon.

The Social Climber is sensing a pattern here.
