Who’s that lady singing with Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull?

That’s Brazilian pop star Claudia Leitte, 33. The trio sang the official World Cup song, “We are One (Ole Ola).”

Where did Pitbull get his pants?

Pitbull stole the show with a soccer jersey tucked into pants that could best be described as “mom capris.”

It’s unclear where the singer bought the “almost pants” but if we find out, we’ll let you know.

What's with the people dressed as trees and flowers?

Allow the show's artistic director, Daphne Cornez, explain:

“The Opening Ceremony is a tribute to Brazil and its treasures: nature, people football," she told FIFA.

How long did it take to plan the opening ceremony?

Organizers estimated that 20 hours of preparation went into each minute of the ceremony, which lasted less than half an hour. Around 84 hours of rehearsals took place before the big moment today.

Is the stadium in Sao Paulo finished?

As of last weekend, Itaquerao Stadium did not look like it would be ready in time to host the opening ceremony and first game. What a difference a few days makes! On the surface, the stadium looked ready to host Brazil and Croatia, along with all of those rowdy fans, but some sections remained unfinished.
