UConn defeats Florida; Wisconsin faces Kentucky in nightcap.

April 5, 2014— -- One of the teams that will play in the national championship game has been decided, after the Connecticut Huskies knocked off the Florida Gators, but the Wisconsin Badgers and the Kentucky Wildcats are still tangling for the second spot.

DeAndre Daniels had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Shabazz Napier, who led the Huskies to upsets over Villanova, Iowa State and Michigan State, scored 12 points for UConn tonight. The Huskies last won a title in 2011.

On the other side of the bracket, the Kentucky Wildcats -- champions in 2012 -- needed a last-second 3-pointer by Aaron Harrison to dispatch Michigan. UK's star freshmen also knocked off archenemy Louisville and handed Wichita State its only lost this season.

Frank Kaminsky made sure the Wisconsin Badgers would be the last B1G team standing after Michigan and Michigan State lost in the Elite Eight. Wisconsin needed overtime to beat Arizona. The Badgers previously ran past Baylor, Oregon and American.
