Carl Edwards to join Joe Gibbs Racing

— -- Joe Gibbs Racing has signed Carl Edwards for the 2015 Sprint Cup season as the operation will expand to a fourth team, it was announced Tuesday.

Edwards will get behind the wheel of the No. 19 Toyota Camry as JGR will now have four full-time drivers at NASCAR's highest level. Arris Group, Inc., has already signed on as Edwards' sponsor for 17 races.

"This is one of the biggest days in Joe Gibbs Racing's history," owner Joe Gibbs said in a statement. "To be able to bring a driver the caliber of Carl Edwards on board to launch our fourth team is just a thrill."

In addition, JGR has signed Daniel Suarez to compete in the Nationwide Series as well as the Camping World Truck Series.
