(AP) -- Lenny Collins scored 15 of his game-high 20 points in the first half and Adam Gore went 6-for-6 from the free throw line in the final 1:56 as Cornell held off Dartmouth 64-60 on Saturday night. The Big Red (13-15, 8-6 Ivy League) led by 13, 56-43, with 7:30 remaining, but Dartmouth twice pulled within a one point in the final 37 seconds. The first time Gore hit a pair of foul shots with 29.6 seconds left to give Cornell a 61-58 lead. After a dunk by Alex Barnett with 11.5 seconds left pulled Dartmouth (6-21, 4-10) within one again, Gore made two more free throws with 9.4 seconds left. Dartmouth had one last chance to tie the score but John Ball's 3-point attempt was off the mark. Gore and David Lisle scored nine points apiece for Cornell, which is assured no worse than a third-place finish in the Ivy League. Dartmouth, which got 13 points from Leon Pattman and 10 from Barnett, was just 8-for-16 from the line in the second half.
