— -- AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas running back D'Onta Foreman, the nation's leading rusher, surpassed 2,000 rushing yards Friday in a loss to TCU with another 100-yards-plus game.

Foreman joined Ricky Williams as the second 2,000-yard rusher in Longhorn history on 44-yard run in the third quarter. He finished with 165 yards on 31 carries in the 31-9 loss.

It was Foreman's school-record 13th straight game with 100 or more rushing yards, and he eclipsed 2,000 yards in only 11 games this season.

After the game, Foreman said he wants to make a decision about going pro as soon as possible.

Foreman also said whether Charlie Strong remains as coach would be a factor.

Foreman is a finalist for the Doak Walker Award along with San Diego State's Donnel Pumphrey and Florida State's Dalvin Cook.
