— -- EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) -- Matt Webster had 20 points and six rebounds to lead Evansville to a 64-59 win over Missouri Valley Conference foe Indiana State Saturday. Also scoring in double digits for Evansville (10-7, 4-5) were Lucious Wagner with 12 and Andre Burton with 10. Evansville was able to overcome a 29-26 halftime deficit to outscore Indiana State 38-30 in the second period and secure the win. The Purple Aces took the lead 38-36 over the Sycamores (7-12, 2-6) with 13:42 left and led by as much as eight points before Indiana State went back on top 57-55 with 3:34 left. But about a minute later, Evansville retook the lead and held on for the win. Eric Gray came off the bench to score 16 points to lead the Sycamores, which had two of their starters -- Amani Daanish and Jerod Adler -- foul out. Also scoring in double digits for Indiana State were David Moss with 13 and Tyson Schnitker with 12.
