Ghostzapper zaps 'em in Tom Fool

— -- NEW YORK -- Ghostzapper beat Aggadan by 4 1/4 lengths Sunday in the Grade 2 $150,000 Tom Fool Handicap at Belmont. Carrying 119 pounds and Javier Castellano, the 4-year-old colt by Awesome Again covered seven furlongs in 1:20 2/5 on a fast track and barely missed the track record by 2/5. Ghostzapper returned $4.70 and $3.20 and earned $90,000 for Stronach Stables. Aggadan paid $5.40. There was no show betting. The victory was the second graded stakes win of the weekend for trainer Bobby Frankel, who saddled Suburban Handicap winner Peace Rules on Saturday. Ghostzapper won his first start since taking Monmouth's Frisk Me Now Stakes in September.
