— -- In the least surprising news perhaps ever for anyone who watches "Dancing with the Stars," Olympic gymnastics star Laurie Hernandez won Season 23 of the competition show on Tuesday night. The 16-year old was the frontrunner almost as soon as the new cast was announced, and her skills on the dance floor did not disappoint.

Teamed up with partner Val Chmerkovskiy, the pair defeated former Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson and Lindsay Arnold and IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess on Tuesday's finale. Country singer Jana Cramer was eliminated on Monday night. Performing a fusion dance of Foxtrot and Argentine Tango, that they had less than 24 hours to learn and perfect, Hernandez and Chmerkovskiy did what they have been doing all fall long -- they absolutely CRUSHED it.

All three couples received perfect scores from the judges for their dances on Tuesday night, but ultimately when the scores from Monday's show and the votes from fans at home were tallied, Hernandez emerged victorious (with Hinchcliffe finishing in second and Johnson in third) and joined Shawn Johnson as the only gymnasts in history to win on the show. As you can imagine, Hernandez was adorable and gracious when it was announced she would be taking home the mirror ball trophy.

And, of course, Johnson and other gymnasts were quick to congratulate Hernandez on her victory on social media.

But for anyone feeling sad about no longer being able to see Hernandez dance on your TV screen every week, fear not! It was announced during the show she would be participating in the upcoming nationwide "Dancing with the Stars" tour. Clearly we are all winners tonight with that news.
