Matthew Dellavedova will play Saturday after testing sore ankle

— -- TORONTO --  Cleveland Cavaliers backup point guard Matthew Dellavedova will play in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Toronto Raptors after testing his sore left ankle during shootaround earlier Saturday.

Dellavedova twisted his ankle in the second half of the Cavs' 108-89 win over the Raptors in Game 2 on Thursday.

"What the training staff says is most important to me," Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said earlier in the day before Dellavedova was cleared to play. "I'm not a medical guy. If he says he can go, he can go."

Dellavedova is averaging 5.6 points and 3.5 assists in 14.9 minutes per game this postseason and has been part of the Cavs' most efficient lineup along with LeBron James, Iman Shumpert, Channing Frye and Richard Jefferson.

Lue said Mo Williams, who suffered from knee discomfort for much of the season, is healthy enough to play in Dellavedova's place should it come to that.
