— -- SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The San Francisco 49ers' final practice of training camp was highlighted by the return of standout receiver Michael Crabtree.

After working some Wednesday, Crabtree practiced fully for the first time since July 30 on Friday in front of roughly 10,000 fans at Levi's Stadium. Crabtree had been sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Crabtree was excelling before he was injured and looked strong again Friday. He missed the first 11 games of last season due to a torn Achilles tendon suffered in May 2013. Crabtree said he weighs about 215 pounds after weighing 230 last season because workouts were affected by his injury.

"I was fast enough to be on the field, but I wasn't me," Crabtree said. "All I can do is do all I can do to get this receiver-quarterback connection the best it can be. I'm trying to go to the top. I'm trying to be one of the best out here."
