— -- With this short par putt on the 18th hole at TPC River Highlands, Jim Furyk became the first player in PGA Tour history to record a round of 58.

Reaction poured in from fellow tour players expressing their congratulations for Furyk, who'd previously shared the record as one of six players to post a 59 in a round when he did it in 2013 at the BMW Championship.

Furyk entered the final round in 70th place, fourth-worst among players who'd made the cut at this week's Travelers Championship. By the time he'd completed the greatest round in PGA Tour history, he'd moved all the way up to fifth, just four strokes off the lead -- with the leaders not slated to tee off until more than an hour later.
