Source: Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb expected to skip minicamp over deal

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, who is still seeking a contract extension, is not expected to attend the team's mandatory minicamp that opens Tuesday, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Lamb also has not attended the team's OTAs, which are voluntary. He will be subject to fines by missing the team's minicamp, however.

Lamb is set to play this season on the fifth-year option in his rookie contract, worth $17.991 million fully guaranteed. He will be an unrestricted free agent after this season without an extension.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson reset the wide receiver market on Monday when he agreed to a four-year, $140 million extension, including $110 million guaranteed, sources told Schefter. The $35 million average annual value of Jefferson's contract makes him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. The guaranteed money in his contract also is the highest ever received by a wide receiver.

Last season, Lamb set team records for receptions (135, best in the NFL) and yards (1,749). His 395 catches for 5,145 yards are the most in franchise history for a player through his first four NFL seasons, as are his 18 100-yard games.
