Sources: DeAndre Jordan will decline player option with Los Angeles Clippers, become free agent

Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan has opted out of the $24.1 million on his 2018-19 contract, clearing the way to become a free agent and negotiate a deal to join the Dallas Mavericks, league sources said.

There's a strong mutual interest in negotiating a long-term deal, sources said.
