Sources: Kings trade Marco Belinelli to Hornets for No. 22 pick

— -- The Sacramento Kings have traded guard Marco Belinelli to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for the No. 22 pick in Thursday's NBA draft, sources confirmed to ESPN.

The deal was first reported by The Vertical.

The trade cannot be made official until July 1, but the Hornets will make their pick for the Kings at No. 22, according to The Vertical.

The Kings also have the No. 8 pick in the draft.

An eight-year veteran, Belinelli, 30, averaged 10.2 points, 1.9 assists and 1.7 rebounds in 68 games last season.
