— -- Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Thursday that Stephen Curry probably won't play in Saturday's Game 3 of their Western Conference semifinal series against the Portland Trail Blazers.

But Kerr did say it's possible Curry gets enough work to return for Monday's Game 4. While Curry didn't practice with the team on Thursday, he was in the weight room and did some shooting on the side.

The superstar point guard has been out since spraining the MCL in his knee during a Game 4 first-round victory at Houston on April 24 when he slipped on a wet spot just before halftime. Curry also dealt with an ankle injury during the first round and had just returned from that when he got hurt again.

The Warriors lead the series 2-0.
