Vote: Does Alex Rodriguez deserve to be in the Hall of Fame?

— -- Alex Rodriguez's baseball career is coming to an end.

Following his last game at Yankee Stadium on Friday, A-Rod will be released from his player contract and will sign with the organization as a special adviser and instructor through 2017. 

Suspension aside, his all-time stats seem first ballot-worthy: Fourth in home runs with 696, second in RBIs with 2,084, eighth in runs with 2,021, 19th in hits with 3,114 and first in grand slams with 25.
