Washington releases RB Derrius Guice following arrest

The Washington Football team released Derrius Guice after learning the running back had been involved in a domestic violence incident.

Guice was arrested Friday on domestic violence-related charges, according to the Washington Post.

"This afternoon we learned that there were multiple charges filed against Derrius," the team said in a statement Friday evening. "Upon review of the nature of these charges and following internal discussions, we have decided to release Derrius immediately."
