— -- Wendall Williams, a wide receiver from an NAIA Division I college in Kentucky, ran the 40-yard dash in 4.19 seconds at the NFL regional combine in Winter Park, Minnesota, on Saturday.

Williams' time was posted on the NFL regional combine Twitter feed. It was timed by hand by regional combine evaluators. Several scouts from NFL clubs were present, and they recorded similar times by hand as the regional combine personnel.

Running back Chris Johnson's official time of 4.24 in 2010 is the benchmark for combine speed.

Williams, 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds, was a receiver, rusher and return man for the University of the Cumberlands. The Syracuse, New York, native scored 15 touchdowns in 10 games last season as a senior (eight receiving, three rushing, four special teams).

Information from ESPN's Adam Schefter was used in this report.
