Women's semifinals at Idea Prokom Open postponed

— -- SOPOT, Poland - Top seed Anastasia Myskina of Russia will have to wait until Saturday for her semifinal match with No. 11 Klara Koukalova as the women's competition at the Idea Prokom Open was postponed due to rain Friday. The men, who are a round behind the women, were also postponed later in the day. Myskina, the reigning French Open champion, secured a semifinal berth in the claycourt event with a 6-3, 6-4 triumph over No. 5 Iveta Benesova of the Czech Republic on Thursday. Koukalova routed Slovakian Lubomira Kurhajcova, 6-2, 6-1. Polish wild card Marta Domachowska, who continued her improbable run with a 6-1, 6-4 triumph over No. 10 Marta Marrero of Spain, will face No. 9 Flavia Pennetta of Italy when play resumes. The men's draw will feature Argentine Jose Acasuso, who upset No. 3 David Ferrer of Spain, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4), on Thursday to claim a quarterfinal berth. Acasuso will face Czech qualifier Jiri Vanek, who beat Austrian Stefan Koubek, 6-4, 6-4. Adrian Garcia of Chile, who eliminated No. 2 Nikolay Davydenko of Russia in the first round before besting Frenchman Olivier Mutis, will face Felix Mantilla, who beat fellow Spaniard Albert Portas, 5-7, 7-5, 7-5.
