The men, who are a round behind the women, were also postponed later in the day. Myskina, the reigning French Open champion, secured a semifinal berth in the claycourt event with a 6-3, 6-4 triumph over No. 5 Iveta Benesova of the Czech Republic on Thursday. Koukalova routed Slovakian Lubomira Kurhajcova, 6-2, 6-1.
