Some of those people are probably already spending their refunds, while you face a weekend of sorting through receipts and struggling with IRS forms. Don't despair, though. Other options include CompleteTax Premium and TaxBrain 1040 Premium.

And while you may think there's just one right answer when it comes to determining how much you owe Uncle Sam, our research shows that different software packages can produce different bottom lines. How much different? Nearly $2000 on a tax bill of around $20,000.
