— -- Drew Carey gives away tons of iPads, iMacs and huge 3-D TV sets as host of CBS' The Price is Right. Off-camera, he keeps the economy humming with his own frequent gadget purchases. He's one of Hollywood's biggest gadget geeks and a serial tweeter on Twitter, where he posts many times a day as @DrewFromTV about gadgets, sports, The Price is Right, dieting and exercise. (The former star of The Drew Carey Show has shed 85 pounds.)

On Twitter

"Imagine you were at a cocktail party…you don't have to talk if you don't want to. You can sit there and drink and look around…but if you have something interesting to say and want to join the conversation, then jump in and say as much as you want…Remember when people used to say `nothing to write home about?' Now they say `nothing to tweet about.'"

On cameras

He owns fancy Canon digital SLRs (the $2,500 EOS 5D Mark II and the $1,600 EOS 7D) but takes most of his images on the iPhone these days.

"If all you're doing is taking pictures of friends at a party and posting them on Facebook, the iPhone pretty much covers it.

For running

Likes the iPod Nano and Beats by Dr. Dre headphones.

What's hot on 'Price'

Grandfather clocks are out and iPads are in.

"We started replacing the old prizes with gadgets, and people go crazy. TVs, computers…they'd rather have them. A 3D TV is great, but add a stereo system and theater chairs to go with it, and people go wild."
