TechBytes: Apple Claims Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Is iPad Rip-Off

Aug. 10, 2011— -- In today's TechBytes, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is on hold overseas. A German court issued a temporary injunction, saying it can't be sold in most of Europe because Apple is suing Samsung, claiming the tablet is an iPad rip-off.

Apple vs. Exxon

Apple briefly overtook Exxon as the most valuable publicly traded company on Tuesday. Both companies are worth nearly $350 billion.

HTC Status

AT&T has just released the first smartphone with a dedicated Facebook button. The HTC Status allows all Facebook activities with just one push.

The Wall Street Journal's Katie Boehret says avid Facebookers will love it.

"The Facebook button is something for heavy Facebook users who really consider the social network something they have integrated into their life nonstop. They're constantly updating their friends, they constantly check into places," said Boehret.
