Feb. 3, 2011— -- Current Verizon customers can begin ordering the iPhone online today. Customers who pre-order may get them in the mail a day or two before they go on sale to the general public next Thursday, the phone company said.

The Daily

The first iPad-only newspaper was unveiled Wednesday when Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. took the wraps off "The Daily." The digital paper will be delivered each morning, and feature about 100 pages broken into sections including "News," "Gossip" and "Opinion." The New York Times' Nick Bilton says it also incorporates social features like Facebook and Twitter in a unique way.

"There were articles today about Egypt and the turmoil that's going on there. There were actual tweets from people that were on the scene, that were actually embedded in the articles. So they really integrated social into the experience in a way that I haven't really seen before," said Bilton.

The Daily costs 99 cents per week or $40 a year.
