Turn off cellphones, corral the kids

— -- Fliers overwhelmingly oppose cellphone use in flight and favor separate sections for tots.

At least, that's what TripAdvisor's annual Travel Trends survey of 3,117 U.S. travelers found. Some highlights:

80% think cellphones should be banned in flight (but 69% want wireless Internet).

71% said families with young children should sit in their own section of a plane.

The No. 1 irritant: A child kicking the seatback, say 30%, followed by fliers who recline seats too far and yakking on phones before takeoff and after landing (each got 19% of votes).

Also, 24% of respondents said they would not fly if airlines began charging by travelers' weights.
