— -- The museum famed for lifelike images of celebrities is finally premiering in Star Central.

After viewing VIPs' hand and footprints outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, tourists soon can stroll next door to see wax figures of entertainers.

Madame Tussauds Hollywood the ninth in the chain is due Aug. 1. Icons include X-Men Origins: Wolverine's Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry and Beyoncé.

Why did it take Tussauds so long to go Hollywood? Mainly waiting for the right site, Tussauds Hollywood spokesman Jerry Digney says. Admission will be $25 for adults; $18 for children under 12.
