— -- Francis Ford Coppola has one. Leonardo DiCaprio is supposed to be getting one. And now Marlon Brando's is under construction.

We're talking celebrity-linked luxury eco-resorts, and given that legendary actor Brando died five years ago, it's not really correct to say he actually has one. But the 47-bungalow development (with spa, private plunge pools and other requisites for the fabulous set) will bear his name.

And his vision or so say the publicity people. The Brando is being built on the French Polynesian atoll of Tetiaroa, which the actor bought in 1965. Richard Bailey, a Brando friend and owner of four InterContinental resorts in the region, is overseeing the project. It's due for completion in late 2011.
