— -- A family feud for basketball tickets turned into something of a masquerade ball in Oakland this weekend when a son dressed up like his mother to take her ticket.

The Pillons, a family of five, had just two tickets to see Game 5 of the Oakland Warriors-Cleveland Cavaliers game.

The original plan, according to ABC News affiliate KGO, was to let the parents go instead of their three children. But the youngest son lobbied hard to change his mother's mind.

"I was kind of juicing my mom all week, trying to build her up and try to get her to give me her ticket because I'm the one who's home. So we went to tea every morning. We were hanging out," Travis Pillon said to KGO about his efforts to steal his mother's ticket.

Eventually, Marcia Pillon gave in, but with a catch: she said that he had to look exactly like her in case his siblings saw Travis and his dad on television so that they wouldn't get mad at her for giving him the ticket.

"He said, 'Mom, what will it take?' I said, 'What it's going to take is for you to look exactly like me in order to sit in that seat, so your brother and sister won't freak out when they see you sitting in the seat.' Next thing I know, we're in a wig shop," Marcia Pillon told KGO.
