"If you are outside, evacuate campus immediately," officials tell students.
Dec. 12, 2012— -- A Southern California college campus is on lockdown as authorities search for possibly two armed suspects.
"CSUF students and employees: If you are inside a university building, we remain on lock-down. Shelter in place. If you are outside, evacuate campus immediately," school officials posted on the university's website.
Authorities are conducting a room to room search of Mihaylo Hall for the suspects still at large.
Authorities said the incident may have started with at least five suspects possibly involved in a jewelry robbery and attempted homicide in Moreno Valley Wednesday afternoon, ABC News Los Angeles station KABC reported.
The suspects left the scene in one vehicle and exited the freeway near the Cal State Fullerton campus, according to KABC.
Two suspects were arrested, while another was taken into custody after an alleged carjacking that led to a pursuit by police in a high-speed chase, KABC reported.
