CPAC Presidential Straw Poll: Who Do You Think Will Be the Republican Frontrunner for 2012?

Feb. 11, 2011 -- Thousands of conservatives are in Washington, D.C. for the annual Conservative Political Action Conference. The conference will come to a close tomorrow when the winner of the presidential straw poll is announced.

Voting is open to all 11,000 conference attendees until this evening. There are 15 potential 2012 candidates on the ballot as well as room for a write-in candidate.

The candidates are: Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, former talk show host Herman Cain, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, U.S. Ambassador to China Jon Huntsman, former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Texas Rep. Ron Paul, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum and South Dakota Sen. John Thune.
