— -- Pope Francis will make a historic speech today on Capitol Hill before traveling to New York City.
With today's address, he will become the first pontiff to speak to a joint meeting of Congress. After one last stop in D.C., the pope is scheduled to arrive in New York City in time for an evening prayer at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
