1 killed in south Israel shooting attack, police say
One person was killed and 10 others injured in a shooting attack in southern Israel on Sunday, police said.
The attack occurred at the central bus station in the southern city of Be'er Sheva, in the Negev region.
A police spokesperson said that "preliminary reports" suggested the incident was a "terror attack."
"The terrorist has been neutralized and numerous police forces from the southern district are present at the scene," the spokesperson said.
The Magen David Adom emergency service said a 25-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Another 10 people were taken to the nearby Soroka Medical Center for treatment.
Among the injured were one woman in "moderate to serious condition with gunshot injuries," four people in "moderate condition with gunshot injuries," and five people in "mild condition" with glass shrapnel and other injuries, the MDA said.
