— -- A group of motorists stuck in seemingly never-ending traffic on a Pennsylvania highway turned their traffic jam into a music jam session after two musicians pulled out their steel drums right on the highway.

Meteorologist Justin Berk, of Baltimore, was one of the drivers stuck in the nearly hour-long traffic standstill on Saturday just outside of King of Prussia.

Berk wrote on his blog that around 30 minutes into the traffic jam, he learned that two of his fellow motorists were the members of a steel drums group worried they might miss their next performance.

"I saw an opportunity for some fun and glad I was able to convince them to break out their instruments right there on the highway,” Berk writes.

Once the drummers, identified by Berk as David Gettes and Paul Downie of Trinidad North Steel Drums, began to play, the unsuspecting crowd got out of their cars and joined in the fun.

A two-minute video posted to YouTube by Berk shows the other drivers and passengers clapping and dancing and then pulling out a stick to do the limbo.

“The limbo and conga line that broke out was just before the accident was cleared. You will here me respond to someone saying, ‘We’re done? Awww…’ as it was time to wrap up,” Berk wrote.

“Making lemonade out of lemons, this was a classic example of seeing the best of a situation and not wasting energy stressing over something you can’t control,” he concluded. “I made a promise to share their good deed and good time, so here it is.”
