Feb. 4, 2011 -- The Green Bay Packers take on the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday in Super Bowl XLV. Last year Americans spent more than $8.5 billion on the game, according to the National Retail Federation, and over 150 million Americans watched at least part of the event, Nielsen ratings reported.

The big game is popular for much more than just the competition on the field. For many it is a good excuse for a party with friends and fatty foods, others watch for the commercials and the half-time show.
