Private Tour of Gallery With Artist Shepard Fairey
The man behind the iconic Obama "Hope" poster shows off his latest work.

— -- Street artist Shepard Fairey is back in New York City with a solo exhibition at the Jacob Lewis Gallery.
Fairey is well known for his iconic Obama "Hope" poster from the 2008 presidential election, but has been creating art since the 1980s.
The Charleston, South Carolina, native, who has also been labeled an activist, gave ABC News a private tour and a sneak peek of his work today, which will not be open to the public until Thursday. The exhibition will be up until Oct. 24.
The last time Fairey, 45, had a solo exhibition in New York City was in 2010.
