— -- Sabra Dipping Co. LLC is voluntarily recalling 30,000 cases of hummus products because of a possible risk of listeria contamination.

Sabra said Tuesday the recall is limited to five SKUs of Classic Hummus sold nationwide.

No illnesses have been reported to date, according to a statement posted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Listeria can cause short-term symptoms such as fever, headaches, nausea and abdominal pain in healthy adults but can cause serious infections in children, the elderly or people with weakened immune systems.

The potential contamination was discovered March 30 during a random sample collected at a retail location by officials in Michigan, the statement said.

Any of the recalled products can be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
