1. Christie Aide's Emails Linked to NJ Traffic Nightmare
Newly discovered emails appeared to connect a top aide of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie to the closure of the world's busiest bridge as political payback against a local mayor. Christie said in a statement that he was "misled" by a staffer.

2. Giffords Completes Skydive on Shooting Anniversary
Former Rep. Gabby Giffords completed a skydive on Wednesday on the third anniversary of the mass shooting in Tucson, Ariz.

3.1 Missing in Navy Copter Crash That Killed
A Navy helicopter crashed in the Atlantic Ocean, 20 miles off the coast of Virginia Beach. Two are dead and one is missing.

4. MLB Hall of Fame Elects New Members
Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine and Frank Thomas received enough votes to enter the baseball Hall of Fame, while Craig Biggio fell two votes short.
