Watch as Raging River Bursts Into Texas Home

— -- Frightening video shows the moment when rampant river water burst through a glass door and flooded a Texas home.

The footage shows how water from the swelled Blanco River broke down the door and flooded the living room.

Furniture is seen being moved swiftly by the water as the camera operator screams.

While this scene is bad, it is far from the worst that has occurred since the flash flooding started over Memorial Day Weekend.

"We have thousands of homes that are damaged. Some that are totally lost," a Hays County official said at a news conference Wednesday.

All told, there have been 18 weather-related deaths in Texas and eight people are still missing, officials said.
