Trump on Accuser: 'I'm Sure She's Never Been Grabbed Before'
The GOP candidate spoke in a radio interview about one of his female accusers.
-- Donald Trump, in an interview with New Hampshire radio station WGIR, responded dismissively when speaking of one of the women who has accused him of sexual impropriety.
"And you know I don’t grab them as they say on the arm,” Trump said. ”One said ‘he grabbed me on the arm’ and she’s a porn star. Now you know, this one that came out recently. ‘He grabbed me and he grabbed me on the arm,’ oh, I’m sure she’s never been grabbed before. And they make it so it’s all lies.”
Trump was referring to the adult film star Jessica Drake, who alleges that he kissed her and two other women without their consent 10 years ago.
Trump has denied all of the allegations made by the women.
"This story is totally false and ridiculous,” the Trump campaign said in a statement regarding Drake. Referring to a photo of Trump and Drake that was shown at her press conference, the statement said, "The picture is one of thousands taken out of respect for people asking to have their picture taken with Mr. Trump. Mr. Trump does not know this person, does not remember this person and would have no interest in ever knowing her.”
On Saturday, during an address in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, that was billed as a look into his “First 100 Days”, Trump threatened to sue all of the women who have accused him.
"Every women lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign. Total fabrication. The events never happened. Never. All of these liars will be sued after the election is over,” Trump said.
Trump has also threatened to sue The New York Times, the publication that told the accounts of two women who accused Trump of groping them; a suit has not yet been filed.
The Republican nominee has chastised his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, for attacking the women who accused her husband of rape, sexual assault or harassment.
"Hillary Clinton attacked those same women. And attacked them viciously, “ he said during the second presidential debate in St. Louis.
Trump has called the women who have accused him of sexual misconduct, “liars”, and referred to one of them as “horrible.”
