Lieberman Joins Fusion as General Counsel
April 30, 2013 -- Fusion's interim President Beau Ferrari sent the following note to staff announcing new additions to the team:

I¹m writing to share more good news. Eric Lieberman has joined Fusion asour new Vice President and General Counsel.
Eric was most recently General Counsel for the Washington Post, where hewas responsible for legal affairs, government affairs, public relationsand community relations.
Eric who spent 15 years at The Post - understands all aspects of medialaw, from newsgathering issues and IP rights to protecting anonymoussources.
Before joining The Post¹s in-house legal team in 1998, Eric was alitigator for six years at the prestigious Washington law firm Williams &Connolly. Prior to that, Eric clerked for Chief Judge James L. Oakes onthe U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Early in his careerEric was a legislative aide on Senator Kennedy¹s Labor Committee staff.
Eric grew up in Durham, N.C. and received his J.D. degree from DukeUniversity.
He is a top-notch media executive known for delivering clear and practicalcounsel. We are incredibly fortunate he¹s joining our team.
