5 Reasons We Can’t Wait for TomorrowWorld Music Festival
With luxe camping and uber-VIP areas, this festival goes beyond the usual.
Sept. 16, 2013 -- intro: Since 2005, the sprawling Belgian music festival TomorrowLand has grown into one of the largest electronic dance fests in the world. This September 27 it’s finally invading the United States as TomorrowWorld, with a weekend outside Atlanta full of camping, activities, and of course, the best in electronic dance music from across the globe.
But while the U.S. festival scene is already crowded – even with EDM-focused festivals – TomorrowWorld still stands out from the pack. Here are five major reasons why.
quicklist: 1title: Welcome to Dreamvilletext: You may think camping is a drag, and in all sophisticated honesty, it is. But ditch that raggedy bear-attracting image of a tent you have, and gear up for an experience unlike any other with what TomorrowWorld has dubbed “Dreamville.”
Don’t call it a camp site, because upon arrival it will feel as though Dreamville should be its own city on your smart phone GPS. Along with about 90,000 of the world’s friendliest people gathering in this weekend oasis, feast your eyes upon international gourmet food vendors, gift shops, and sufficient bathrooms (whew!).
Equipped with air mattresses, sleeping bags, a nightlight and your best friends, the TomorrowWorld branded tents provide a place of refuge. If you’re feeling extra classy or want more alone time, take shelter in the barracks-style Relax Rooms with a 24-hour concierge staff, electricity, full beds, and access to Jacuzzis and higher-end food vendors. Also available: multiple showers, refresh stations and toilets that actually flush (no more port-a-potties). If FourSquare was still popular, we’d check-in as often as possible.

quicklist: 2title: The Pre-Game
text: TomorrowWorld is one of the few times a year you get over 300 of the world’s best DJs converging in the same area. It’s basically how we envision heaven. But before the festivities kick off on Friday, you know there has to be a pre-game somewhere, and there is.
Forget the red solo cups and your iPod on shuffle. The Dreamville Gathering pre-party kicks off at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 26 with DJs including Morgan Page, Michael Brun, TJR, Herobust, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, and many more. So, if you happened to tell your boss your three-day weekend turned into four, then come start happy hour early at the Gathering.

quicklist: 3title: LIV It Up
text: Miami’s world-renowned LIV nightclub is no stranger to the motto “go big or go home,” and its takeover of TomorrowWorld is no exception. As nightclub and festival junkied (we tried therapy, it didn’t work), we can say LIV will bring one of the most epic experiences combining the best of both worlds.
The LIV stage at the festival features DJs like Pete Tong and Dirty Dutch, but that’s just a third of the trifecta. If you’re all about table service and popping bottles while looking down on people (literally), then the VIP Sky Loft is for you!
You can also hover above the crowd at the main stage, LIVing in a cloud of luxury (in the least douchey way possible) while jamming to your favorite house hits. (If our loooooove is tragedy, why are you my clarity?)
But this is also hot Georgurrr (Madea voice) so you’ve got to cool off from time to time. Take a dip in the LIV Ocean and Pool Club and experience the South Beach vibe in the middle of the woods by renting a cabana or day bed. Those forest oaks will soon start to look like Caribbean palms.

quicklist: 4title: Decisions, Decisions
text: We’ve all come to know superstar DJs like Tiesto and David Guetta ,but there’s so much more talent to be explored at TomorrowWorld. Whether you’re into trance, deep or tech-house, or just artists who can’t be defined, then here are some suggestions that might tickle your fancy.
Trance fans will be whisked away by acts such as Late Night Alumni and Orjan Nilsen at the Trance Addict stage. And over at the OWSLA stage, dubstep and drum and bass will be provided to you by acts like Alvin Risk and Kill the Noise. Or if you want to help discover the next great EDM artists you have to check out the Kitsune stage and be sure to see Cassian and Tesla Boy. (Don’t worry, they are playing on separate days.)
Since our Fusion roots are in Miami, we can’t wait to do footwork all weekend to the sounds of deep and tech house at the Deep End stage. We’re especially excited for Damian Lazarus!

quicklist: 5title: Underage No More
text: Sick of underage pre-teens raining on your festival parade? So are we. Unlike similar events that are all-ages or 18-plus, TomorrowWorld is 21 and over. That means you can enjoy raging with fellow grown-up party pros.
